MASONS JET BLACK (3) was in the money two starts back at Evangeline Downs but couldn't back it up last time when sixth, beaten 6 lengths, at Evangeline Downs (Dirt) over 3f213yards. Has a good record at this course and distance, including a win and two minor placings. Finds a nice race and can turn things around. JRS SHINEY MAJESTIC (7) finished out of the money two starts back then he settled well back and was beaten 6 lengths when eighth over 2f at Evangeline Downs three-and-a-half weeks ago. Has the class to take this out. ZEVI BLUE (2) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Evangeline Downs (Dirt), finishing fourth and only 1.5 lengths from the winner at the end of 3f213yards. Nicely placed to fill a top-three spot.
