PINEHURST (11) last appeared six-and-a-half weeks ago over 1m1/2f at Del Mar when he finished seventh. This is his first run for the Jonas Gibson stable. Expecting a seamless transition. TRIPLE RED ACES (1) doesn't win very often but ran a strong race last time out over 5f at Evangeline Downs (Turf), finishing second and beaten 2 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Perfectly placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. MALAKI EMPIRE (5) returned from a break and was on a turf track for the first time last start when second over this course and distance, beaten 3.5 lengths. Will be better for the recent experience and should feature again. SUNNY SASSICAIA (3) did a great job to score by one length over this course and distance when resuming from a lay-off last time out. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
