Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. Group 3 placegetter GALERIO (10) went to the paddock after scoring at his only appearance last prep seven months ago over 1m1/2f at Oaklawn Park (Dirt). Goes well at this journey with six wins from 18 starts and shapes as a key contender. BAYOU JAM (13) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Evangeline Downs, beaten 2 lengths into fourth after being in contention on the corner. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. JULIA'S WARRIOR (5) proved too strong two runs ago but was not as effective last time out when third over 1m1/4f at this track, beaten 5 lengths. Worth another chance.
