This looks a winnable race. RUN SMITTY RUN (7) turned in a sub-par run last time out over 7f at Evangeline Downs (Dirt) after a nice win the start prior. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is set to turn things around. DEEP STATE (1) has not won for a long while. Last raced on July 2 when beaten 3.5 lengths into fifth at this track (Dirt) over 7f after he got a long way back in the run. Suitably placed so anticipating a bold performance.
