CCED FOR STEPH (6) turned in a modest performance when fourth last time out over 5½f at Evangeline Downs, beaten 5 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. That followed a win at Fairgrounds at the previous outing. Ideally placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. CADEAU DE PAIX (3) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at this track (Dirt) over 6½f after being in the firing line all the way. Has the pace to be thereabouts from the outset. Looks well placed this line-up so expect another big run. SHE'SMYSMOKESHOW (1) lines up on the back of a 2.75 lengths fourth over 5½f at this track. Credentials hard to knock. OOCHIE (2) is back at the races for the first time since February 22. Scored over 6½f at Delta Downs at the start of last prep. Looks a strong top-three prospect.
