RIFEY (4) resumed last start over 6f at Oaklawn Park (Dirt) and showed little early speed, settling well back but hitting the line hard to finish second, beaten 2.25 lengths. Will drift back but is expected to be in the finish again. RISKY PRIORITY (5) was in the money two starts back at Sam Houston Park but was unable to repeat the effort last time when eighth, beaten 19 lengths, at this track (Dirt) over 6f. This is a nice drop in grade so he is likely to play a big role. GOLDEN QUALITY (1) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 1m at Evangeline Downs, beaten 4.5 lengths. Has a fair record when second up, including two top-three finishes. Perfectly placed and is sure to find some form. FIELD OF VISION (6) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Evangeline Downs, beaten 7 lengths into sixth. Well placed to turn things around.
