MYSTERIOUS SPIRIT (7) went to the paddock after scoring at his last appearance four months ago over 1m at Fairgrounds (Dirt). Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. Z Z'S PRINCE (6) finished out of the money two starts back then he was never in contention and was beaten 11 lengths when 11th in a 1m contest at Fairgrounds eight weeks ago. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a major role. WITCH'S VOW (5) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing sixth at Lone Star Park (Turf) over 7½f after being in the firing line on the bend. Has the class to take this out.
