Race Tip

STRAKER (6) missed the placings last time out over 5½f at Santa Anita (Dirt). Prior to that had won two races on end. Adrian Escobedo who has two wins when partnering stays on. Among the leading chances. HULA PRANCER (1) settled towards the rear and failed to threaten in the straight last start when seventh, beaten 6 lengths, over this course and distance. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. RYDER'S CANDY (7) returned from a break last start with a moderate sixth over 5½f at Santa Anita (Dirt) after travelling back in the field from the outset. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a major role. DALLAS ALICE (2) finished ninth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 4½f at this track, beaten 3 lengths. Best efforts measure up so capable of another big run.
