MIRINDA (6) turned in a fine effort to score by 1. 3 lengths at this course and distance last start in a far better run. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. CHEEKY GAL (2) returns from a layoff of four months. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 5½f at Los Alamitos. Makes plenty of appeal. RO TOWN (3) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when seventh over 6½f at Los Alamitos (Dirt) after she was well back on straightening. Well placed and can run a better race.
