CAPTAIN WILLIS (5) finds it hard to win with just one success from 10 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when ninth over 5½f at Los Alamitos, beaten 8 lengths. Finds the right race this time and can salute. THIRSTY GAMBLER (1) stuck on well last start to finish third over 4f124yards at this track (Dirt) after showing good early speed. This is an easier assignment and can get the job done.
