SONG OF SHADOWS (1) turned in a fair run when returning from a break last start over 6f at Santa Anita (Turf), finishing 5 lengths from the winner in sixth. Has a very strong record at this course with two wins from three starts. Should prove tough to beat. ISABEL LUDLOW (3) finished second two runs back at Santa Anita (Dirt) then improved last time out to score by 7 lengths as favourite over 6f at Santa Anita (Dirt). Antonio Fresu scored on her last time and retains the ride. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she deserves plenty of thought. ROSE OF JERICHO (5) was in contention on the corner and finished second last time over 6f at Santa Anita (Dirt), beaten 4 lengths. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is capable of a big performance.
