Has a good record at this course and distance, including a win and six minor placings. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. HERMELINDA'S FANCY (3) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 12 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 5½f at Santa Anita, beaten 4 lengths. Beautifully placed and is sure to be there at the finish. ITSALLABOUTMYWIFE (1) is racing well. Scored at this track (Dirt) in a then finished third, beaten 2 lengths, over 4½f at this track (Dirt) at the latest appearance four weeks ago. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. One of the main contenders. DORIS AVENUE (5) produced another moderate effort last start when 13 lengths from the winner in seventh over 5½f at Santa Anita. Better than recent efforts suggest.
