RED ON SUNDAY (2) kicked off this campaign with a win two runs ago. Less impressive last time out when eighth over 4f124yards at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths. Faces an easier assignment so he can return to the winners' list. WHISKEYINATEACUP (3) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 11 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 5½f at Santa Anita, beaten 8 lengths. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is sure to be prominent. CARDINAL TRICK (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was always well out of his ground over 4½f at this track, beaten 4 lengths into fourth. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. BONUS TORNADO (8) brings the right form to the table after taking out a 4½f contest at this track last time out by half a length. Has a sound record here with three wins and two minor placings from eight starts. One of the genuine contenders.
