Among the leading chances. CAREFUL COLIN (5) was always well out of his ground when 20 lengths from the winner in seventh over 5½f at Santa Anita last start, a less impressive effort than his sixth on debut at Santa Anita the run before. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. PAT CAN'T COUNT (2) is back at the races for the first time since September 17 2023. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 4f124yards at this track. Has to be respected.
