FAVORITE SEMENTAL (1) went forward last time and battled on gamely to finish just half a length from the winner in second over 1f130yards in stakes class at this track (Dirt). Has the talent to produce another positive result. NORCO (2) finished second behind American Dreamin at this track (Dirt) over this distance when resuming from a lay-off last time out. Has a strong record this course, scoring at two of four starts. Well placed and should be in the finish. SHOW N TELL CARTEL (6) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 10 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when sixth over 1f180yards at this track, beaten 1.75 lengths. This is a nice drop in grade so he is a major player. BOTTLE IT UP (5) is a strong fresh performer back after a break of three months and looking to emulate his win at this track to kick off the last campaign. Top-three claims.
