Backmarker who keeps coming. Tough to beat on best. Can open winning account. JOSHUA THOMAS (7) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.9 lengths from the winner in third over 1f80yards at this track after being in the firing line on the turn. Looks well placed so expect another big run. THE GOLD N ONE (2) finished out of the money two starts back then he settled well back and was beaten 2 lengths when seventh over 1f180yards at this track seven weeks ago. Going up a level this time but he is good enough to play a major role. MICHAELS FIRE (3) finished third at this track two runs back but was less effective last time over 1f180yards at this track (Dirt), finishing 4 lengths back in ninth. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
