SEIGE THE DAY (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he got a long way back over 5f at Pleasanton, beaten 9 lengths into sixth. Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. VERMEER (2) turned in a fine effort to win by 0.8 lengths at this course and distance last start in a much improved run. Finds another suitable race and can go on with the job. EQUIPO A (6) was in the firing line on the corner and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 2½f at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. FAMOUS ROCK STAR (4) has been about the mark of late. Last time out was 3 lengths from the winner in third over 4½f at this track (Dirt). Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Can feature in the finish.
