HONDO CROUCH (1) showed little early speed then came with a powerful run to finish third last time out over 6½f at Del Mar (Dirt). Must respect the stable decision to remove the blinkers. Major player. BARTHOLDY (6) stuck on well last start to finish second over 6½f at Del Mar (Dirt) after showing good early speed. Likely improver with strong prospects. GENTLEMEN'S CLUB (4) is back at the races for the first time since January 13. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 5f at Del Mar. Definite top-three chance.
