CITY OF CHAMPIONS (6) improved last time out, finishing 4 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 4½f at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. MIDNIGHT LIGHTNING (2) met with solid support last start over 4½f at this track (Dirt) when sixth, beaten 6 lengths. Well-placed to make amends. Finds a nice race and can atone.
