FLYING ASTERN (3) finished 5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 4f at Winton a week ago. Steps up in journey. Should camp just off the leaders. Will prove tough to beat. DAWN EMBERS (1) is a consistent performer with four minor placings from six starts this time in work. Was always up in the leading division and finished half a length from the winner in second last start over 6f at Birdsville. Finds a suitable race and can get the job done. DAY TO REMEMBER (2) is a 11-start maiden who has been in the money at his last couple of runs, the latest when third over 4f at Winton. Should be poised just off the lead. Must be respected.
