HALO RANDO (2) is a five-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Robertino Diodoro stable. Resumes after filling a minor placing at his latest outing eight months ago at Los Alamitos (Dirt). Not seen at the trials but looks nicely placed. Expected to be in the finish. COMPETITIVE IDEA (1) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at this track, beaten 9 lengths. Has a solid second up record. Strips fitter and can make amends. INDIA INK (4) is putting together some solid results. Finished third at Fonner Park (Dirt) two starts back then landed the prize by 0. 3 lengths last time out over 4f at Fonner Park (Dirt). Likely to be in the finish again.
