GIRLS DON'T CRY (4) made progress last time out, finishing 4 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 6½f at Sunland Park after being in the firing line on the bend. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. LOVEREIGNORME (7) showed good early speed and raced on the pace when when resuming after a lay-off last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten 7 lengths, over 6f at this track (Dirt). Likely to measure up. I'M ON EDGE (2) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when fourth over 6f at Sam Houston Park (Dirt) after being prominent at the turn. Erik Asmussen gets the best out of this four-year-old filly. Placed to advantage and can feature in the finish. QUIXX (6) turned in a modest performance when third last time out over 6f at Sam Houston Park, beaten 5 lengths, after a win at Sam Houston Park at the previous outing. Worth another chance.
