CHARLIE'S A ROCKIN (2) showed good pace over 1m at Sam Houston Park Turf (Turf) last time and defied all challengers to score by 5. 5 lengths. Should enjoy a good run just off the speed. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she cannot be underestimated. SHY ANN (7) doesn't have the best strike rate but ran a nice race when resuming from a lay-off last time out over 1m at this track (Turf), finishing second and beaten 1. 75 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Yet to miss the placings from four starts at this circuit. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. GLOBAL HOLIDAY (10) was ridden quietly then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished 13 lengths away in fourth last time out over 6½f at Lone Star Park three-and-a-half weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Right in this. KISSIN RICHES (3) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 13 lengths away in sixth over 6f at Oaklawn Park. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
