MCGINNIS (3) was well supported when resuming last start but could only manage to finish fifth over 1m1f at Sam Houston Park Turf (Turf). Should come on from that last outing. Deserves another chance. BONFIGLIO (7) is yet to break through in eight runs. Finished seventh at his last appearance over 1m at Lone Star Park (Dirt) on April 18 after he was well back on straightening. This looks a nice race so expect him to be right in the finish. FOLLOW THE STAR (8) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Lone Star Park, beaten 10 lengths into fourth. Has the class to produce a better result. EL CHAVO (4) was beaten 10 lengths into seventh in a 6f contest at Oaklawn Park three weeks ago. No surprise to see him in the frame.
