XANDER S (11) was in the money two starts back at Sam Houston Park but was unable to repeat the effort last time when eighth, beaten 22 lengths, at this track (Dirt) over 1m. Finds a more suitable contest and can turn things around. TRADE TRAVELER (1) gave away a big start at the top of the straight last start and finished 11 lengths from the winner in fifth over 5½f at this track (Dirt). Well placed on this occasion and is a likely improver.
