WL MYLIPSHURTREALBAD (2) was ridden quietly then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished 1.75 lengths away in sixth last time out over 2½f at this track two weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Among the chances. JJ CARTER (4) is back at the races for the first time since July 6. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 3f213yards at Sam Houston Park. Can make his presence felt. Group 3 winner EYE AM TUFF (5) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fourth over 2½f at this track (Dirt).
