EMPIRE'S BEST (3) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Ronnie Iii Cravens yard. Finished off last campaign with a win at Oaklawn Park (Dirt) 11 weeks ago. Hasn't trialled publicly but is in a nice race. Should prove tough to beat. HARD TO COME BY (7) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 5 lengths when sixth over 1m1/2f at this track two weeks ago. Ideally placed and is sure to play a major role. NORTHWIND (5) is ready to win after collecting his fifth minor placing in a row last time over 7f at this track (Dirt). Has a 100% top-three strike rate at this course after five starts. One of the main contenders. TOP COP (1) turned in another moderate effort last start when 7 lengths from the winner in 11th over 1m1/2f at this track. Has his share of talent and is a top-three prospect.
