CARPE HORSESHOE (4) is back after a break of four months. Was in strong form before that lay-off with five straight wins until she finished fifth at Delta Downs (Dirt) to close the campaign. Did launch her last prep with a minor placing over 6½f at this track. One of the big chances. YVONNE'S MISS (2) settled well back last start and made little impact in the straight when ninth, beaten 15 lengths, over this journey in stakes class at Will Rogers Downs (Dirt). Has the ability to take this out. LA MORENA (5) was in contention on the turn and finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 6f at Sam Houston Park (Dirt), beaten 4.5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. YOLANDA WHO (8) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 6f at Sam Houston Park after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Suitably placed so she can be prominent again.
