SYRACUS DU HOUX (9) struggled in a jumpers flat on penultimate start. Improved drastically when sent back over hurdles at Punchestown. Fancied to go one better here. PAHLAVI (7) produced a sound effort to finish second when lacking race fitness. Improvement still to come. JET SETTING JIM (1) returned with a strong third in a maiden hurdle at Killarney over 2m4f. Fitness now not a problem and could be thereabouts. WINSTON'S WAY (10) was beaten a modest 7L last time out. This is easier so expected to go well.
