SEQUEL (6) raced in town last time and missed the frame, finishing fifth at Doomben and beaten 4 lengths. This is far easier. Will be hard to stop. MEADOWBROOK (7) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 12 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 6f at Grafton, beaten 3 lengths. Placed to advantage and can feature in the finish. SAHARA SPLASH (14) did little and finished 3 lengths from the winner in eighth over 6½f at Sunshine Coast last start, a less impressive effort than her seventh at Goulburn the run before. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. ARCHIE MAXIMUS (1) finished fourth over 7f at Gold Coast last time out following a determined win in a. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Not to be discounted.
