CROKER (8) is a three-start maiden who returned last time and finished fifth at Gold Coast over 6f, beaten 4 lengths. Plenty of scope for improvement and is a great chance to break through. CLAW MACHINE (1) finished eighth two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 6f at Kilcoy, beaten only 0. 9 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Faces an easier assignment so he is a major player. DANCING TILDA (2) returned from a lay-off a week-and-a-half ago when he was beaten 4 lengths into sixth over 7f21yards at Grafton. Faces an easier assignment so he will prove hard to beat. BE MORE PACIFIC (7) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Newcastle, beaten 5 lengths into seventh. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
