MAKE IT SO (2) finished seventh two runs back at Ipswich then improved last time out to score by 8 lengths as favourite after being in the firing line on the turn over 5f at Ballina. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. IRISH THUNDER (10) comes here off a last-start fourth, beaten 12 lengths, over 5f at Ballina. Well placed and should be tough to beat. BRAVELY (1) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when eighth, beaten 5.5 lengths, over 6f at Doomben. Perfectly placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. NEIL (6) is back from a lay-off of six-and-a-half months and does go well when fresh, including a win to launch last campaign over 5f at Grafton. Placed in a recent trial. One of the genuine hopes in the race.
