Possible heavy ground combined with the addition of first-time cheekpieces could see MAJBOROUGH (3) turn things around against his old rivals from the course and distance G1 Paddy's Reward Club Chase. The Willie Mullins runner jumped better when a close-up third on that occasion and looks like the one out of the trio who will handle conditions best. MARINE NATIONALE (4) produced a remarkable race to finish runner-up having missed out at the beginning. This G1 Champion Chase hero of last year arguably holds the best form however testing ground would be a concern. Front-running SOLNESS (6) dug deep to win the aforementioned course G1 but needs to prove his ability to perform to a similar level on this ground. ENERGUMENE (1) heads the remainder.
