SANDUAL (4) missed the placings two runs back then settled well back last start when 3. 5 lengths away in fifth over 5¾f at Devonport Synthetic. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. NOVALARGO (2) is coming along nicely this prep. Finished fifth when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Hobart then improved and scored over 6f at this track three weeks ago, getting home by a long neck after being prominent at the bend. Has the ability to take this out. SEVILLANA (1) missed the frame when resuming last start over 5½f at this track but wasn't all that far from the winner. Backmarker who gets home hard. Will prove tough to stop. GEEGEEHAILSTORM (8) has been in the placings her past two starts, finishing third over 6f21yards at this track last time out. Worth including again.
