ROYAL DISPATCH (4) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 6 lengths when sixth over 1m at Hobart two-and-a-half weeks ago after being in contention on the corner. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. ALPINE BLAST (6) had been rock-solid with two placings in a row before finishing eighth over 1m at this track last start. Yet to win this track and distance but has recorded four minor placings from six attempts. Sure to run well. MONTEZULU (5) was far from disgraced when second last start over 1m at this track, beaten one length. That followed a win at Hobart the start prior. Steps up a level but he is up to the task. NIGHT INVADER (2) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m2 3/4f at this track, beaten 4 lengths into fifth. Daniel Ganderton gets the best out of this four-year-old mare. Nicely placed to find some form.
