Race Tip

SNOW MAIDEN (11) closed off strongly last start to get up for second, beaten 1. 3 lengths, over 5¾f at Devonport Synthetic. Will be tough to stop again. CARNOTAURUS (6) settled well back then found the line nicely to finish fourth, beaten 2. 25 lengths, over this journey at Hobart last time out. One to watch for in the dying stages. HALEN (2) hasn't raced since finishing seventh at Devonport Synthetic over 6¾f seven-and-a-half weeks ago. Kept ticking over with a placing in a recent trial at Longford. Rates highly and sure to be competitive. ARIANNA'S GOLD (5) resumes from a lay-off of six months. Could only manage to finish fifth at the latest run over 6f21yards at this track. Placed in a recent trial. Has ability and is worth including.
