I'M KEEFE (6) finished one length from the winner in fourth last start after being prominent at the bend over 7¼f at Hobart, an improvement on his 11th at Hobart the run before. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. ESPUR (11) got off the mark over 5½f at this track last start, scoring by half a length. Re-unites with Anthony Darmanin who was on board last start. Big chance to go back-to-back. MANDATE (7) went forward from the low draw last time before fading to finish eighth over 7f at this track. Will give backers a sight. GEEGEES CITY BOY (5) finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 5½f at this track, beaten half a length. Fitter for that run. Yet to miss the frame in three starts over this course and distance. In the right race and is sure to be prominent.
