IT'SBRUCE (2) wasn't far away when resuming last start when fourth over 6f at Echuca. May appreciate the longer journey with that run under the belt. Settles back early but winds up late. Will prove hard to hold out. DUBAI FOUNTAIN (9) finished sixth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 7f at Tumut, beaten 0. 9 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she deserves plenty of thought. BROADHURST (6) is back from a 29 day freshen-up following a fourth at Terang last time. HEY BELLA (7) finished sixth over 1m1/4f at Moe at her most recent appearance on September 23. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
