BLUEPINOT (9) will appreciate the longer journey after finishing a solid fifth when resuming last start over 6f at Ballarat. Usually performs well with that run under his belt. Big chance. CASH CONVERTER (5) has recorded three minor placings from four runs this campaign. Was in the firing line all the way and finished a head from the winner in second last start over 6f at Mornington. Nicely placed to find winning ways. WHERE'S POPPY (4) started at 4/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing ninth and beaten 8 lengths at Swan Hill over 1m after being in contention on the turn. John Allen gets the best out of this nine-year-old gelding. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. BATTAGLIA (2) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 1m1/4f at Moe, beaten only 1. 5 lengths. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well.
