LA PLEINE LUNE (3) finished 2 lengths back in fourth over 7f at Echuca last time out after a gutsy win when resuming from a lay-off two runs back. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Sure to be in the finish. TESSA'S CHOICE (7) drifted well back then came with a powerful run to finish 3.5 lengths from the winner in third when resuming last start over 6f at Caulfield Heath. Should run on into the finish again. GLOVE ARTIST (6) finished out of the money two starts back then he was always well out of his ground and was beaten 2.5 lengths when sixth in a 6½f contest at Ararat six weeks ago. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. SMOKEY WARRIOR (8) hit the frame two starts ago at Benalla but ran below par last time when eighth and beaten 6 lengths over 6f at Sandown-Lakeside. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
