ROKABYE WARRIOR (2) improved last time out, finishing 1. 1 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1m1f at Lock. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he cannot be overlooked. PRINCESS ON PALM (4) was well fancied last start over 1m3/4f at this track when third, beaten 3. 5 lengths. Extra trip is important. Worth another chance. VEE ROD (8) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when fourth over 7½f at Gawler after being in contention on the turn. This doesn't look as hard so he is one of the main contenders.
