NIGHT CRUISER (6) did little and finished 12 lengths from the winner in seventh over 1m at Strathalbyn last start after being prominent at the bend, a less impressive effort than his sixth at Morphettville the run before. Has the ability to take this out. TI TREE ROYAL (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6¾f at Port Lincoln, beaten 2 lengths into fifth. Has the class to put the recent run of form behind him. STAR DECORUM (9) has been freshened up since she finished fifth over 6¾f at Port Lincoln six weeks ago. Drawn to enjoy a nice trail just off the pace. One of the main contenders. FOX DUNNETT (4) was beaten 4. Better than recent efforts suggest.
