DAMA ROYALE (8) has filled a minor placing at both runs to date, the latest when beaten 2. 75 lengths into second over 5f at Cranbourne. Going well and should measure up. FLASH ALICE (2) is back after a break of five months. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing third at her latest appearance over 6½f at Bendigo. Has trialled two times leading into this. No surprise if she was able to get off the mark. RACEY CASEY (5) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 2 lengths when fifth in a 6½f contest at Sandown-Hillside two-and-a-half weeks ago after being prominent at the bend. Faces an easier assignment so she is set to turn things around. WILD ROSES GROW (14) turned in a solid when resuming effort at Colac then wasn't beaten all that far last time when sixth at Sandown-Hillside over 6½f. Finds a nice race and can atone.
