BAVETTE (3) finished fifth when resuming two runs back then progressed nicely last time out to score by 1. 5 lengths over 6½f at Swan Hill. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is up to the challenge. Set Weights IFT CIRCLE (9) was given a short break after finishing ninth over 6½f at Bendigo. Kept ticking over since that run with a trial at Seymour. Rates well on best form and a bold showing is expected. PLEASE ME DO (10) broke her maiden last start over 6½f at Wangaratta, scoring by a long neck. Re-unites with Hannah Le Blanc who was on board last start. One of the likely contenders despite the step up in grade. LETHAL THOUGHTS (1) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fourth over 7f at Pakenham after being up on the pace until straightening. Likely improver who should be in the mix.
