PRESERVATOR (3) got well back over 7f at Pakenham Synthetic last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 8 lengths away in tenth. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. FINAL CRACK (1) was comfortably accounted for when seventh last time out over 5½f at this track, beaten 9 lengths. That followed a win at Albury at the previous outing. Likely improver with strong prospects. MISHIMA (2) broke his maiden last start over 7f at this track, scoring by a long neck. Re-unites with Alice Kennedy who was on board last start. Tougher assignment this time but is one of the main contenders. MISSY SPIKE (8) doesn't win out of turn but ran a nice race last time out over 1m at Wangaratta, finishing second and beaten a head. Suitably placed so anticipating another bold showing.
