Should be primed for a strong showing. Keep an eye on betting. HE IS THE KISS (11) ran a strong third over 7¾f at Murwillumbah two runs back then was below his best last time over 1m1/4f when fifth, beaten 9 lengths. Better suited at this shorter trip so looks a leading contender. CLAW MACHINE (10) finished eighth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6f at this track, beaten 0. 9 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. LUCKY ARTIE (7) is a 14-start maiden who returned last time and finished fourth at Gold Coast over 5f, beaten 5. 5 lengths. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come.
