Race Tip

SURCOTE (6) is fitter for two runs from a lay-off, last start finishing a head away in second over 6f at this track. Overdue and gets his chance to break through. ROCKY BLONDE (15) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 1.3 lengths over 5f at Sunshine Coast after being in the firing line on the corner. Perfectly placed and is sure to play a major role. CRAZY EYED FRED (4) drifted well back before winding up strongly to score an effortless 2.25 lengths win over 6f at this track last time out. Among the main hopes. GRANDEUR ROSE (10) finished second at Sunshine Coast two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 6f at this track, finishing 5 lengths back in seventh. Open to improvement and should be about the money.
