GINASUE (5) got well back over 1m1f at Sunshine Coast last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 4 lengths away in tenth. Has started three times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Beautifully placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. LONERGY (8) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just two times from 31 starts. Did a good job last start to finish second over 1m at Thangool, beaten 3 lengths. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. RHODES (1) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 3 lengths away in sixth last time out over 1m2 3/4f at Ipswich. This is a nice drop in grade so he is a major player. TAVIESLASS (2) produced another moderate effort last start when 19 lengths from the winner in ninth over 1m1/4f at Toowoomba. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
