GRANDEUR ROSE (9) finds it hard to win with two victories from 32 starts. Did a good job last start to finish third over 4f at this track, beaten 1.1 lengths. The engagement of Jai Williams is noteworthy. Finds a tougher race but she has the talent to test this line-up. PANAMA PAPERS (3) turned in a fair effort at Kilmore over 7¼f at his last run nine months ago, finishing fourth and beaten 1.1 lengths. Rates highly and should take some beating. CLEARLY GEORGE (8) hit the frame two starts ago at Warwick but ran below par last time when eighth and beaten 9 lengths over 7f at Gatton after being prominent at the corner. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. STEP ON FIRE (4) produced another moderate effort last start when 6 lengths from the winner in seventh over 14f at Sunshine Coast. Better than recent efforts suggest.
