ROCKY JOY (9) returns after a lay-off of ten weeks. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1m1/2f at Keeneland. Yet to win when resuming but generally runs well with two minor placings from three tries. Sure to make his presence felt. VESTURE (4) ran below expectations last time after being in the firing line on the corner at Ellis Park (Turf), finishing fifth and beaten 4 lengths starting at 6/1. Meeting a deeper field this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. PINELAND (5) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing third and beaten only 2.5 lengths over 1m at Ellis Park (Turf) after being in the firing line on the corner. Finds a tougher race but he has the ability to test this field. ITS BOURBON THIRTY (10) progressed nicely last time out to score by 2.2.5 lengths over 5½f at Ellis Park (Turf). Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish.
